MessagemapIQ unlocks the messaging market for our clients

It’s with great pride that we announce the launch of our cloud-based data portal, MessagemapIQ. It’s been designed to unlock a customisable view of your business’s messaging market opportunities by market, channel and customer.

Over the past year we have undergone Phase I of our digital transformation to transition our data from Databooks in Excel into a digital format within the portal. We have done this in close partnership with Configur (amazing people and company so check them out). And what this means is that we can now take our existing data points down to the nth degree in terms of granularity.

But this is just the beginning. MessagemapIQ has allowed us to upload every dataset that we have created, often in the background used to help create our core product set of Databooks, such as population, subscriptions, unique mobile users, demographic data, device data, all of which can now be applied to our market data and forecasts, to provide that additional deeper dive into the marketplace that our clients have been requesting.

And what’s great is that we can do this across 200 markets, and over 649 mobile operators.

As part of Phase 1.1, in the coming weeks, we will continue to expand the datasets in MessagemapIQ. These will include consumer engagement data, such as sector opt-ins by market, and this will lead to a more accurate understanding in terms of how effective each messaging campaign by sector will be and the ROI.

In early 2022, we will enter Phase 1.2, and that will see the addition of our CPaaS forecasts to the portal – this is a massive project with our research into this already running for a number of months. At this time we will also be able to include datasets on Facebook Messenger and Viber, and hopefully more messaging channels.

We will also include our consumer messaging index, which will highlight whether a sector is experiencing under- or over-utilisation based on the amount of traffic being sent. This will become a very useful messaging campaign management tool.

As we approach the mid-point of 2022, we will start Phase II of MessagemapIQ and that will involve the addition of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and visualisation. And that will take our data to new stratospheric levels.

Hope you can join us for the journey.
